Hybrid‐State Dynamics of Gold Nanorods/Dye J‐Aggregates under Strong Coupling

Abstract

The photophysics of a molecule-coated gold nanorod structure was studied by ultrafast transient spectroscopy under resonant pumping. The results provide evidence for coherent coupling between the exciton and SP modes. The behavior is very similar to polaritons in an optical microcavity.
