Chest radiograms of 120 infants and children with proven foreign body aspiration in the tracheobronchial tree were studied. The X-ray findings were correlated with the bronchoscopic findings. The importance of fluoroscopic examination and recording X-ray chest films during deep inspiration and expiration for the diagnosis is discussed.
