Clinical disease in kittens inoculated with a pathogenic strain of Bartonella henselae

Abstract

Kittens that are febrile, anorectic, lethargic, and that have lymphadenopathy should be tested for Bartonella organisms, and contact with immunocompromised owners should be discouraged.
