Prophylactic Surgery to Reduce the Risk of Gynecologic Cancers in the Lynch Syndrome

Abstract

These findings suggest that prophylactic hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy is an effective strategy for preventing endometrial and ovarian cancer in women with the Lynch syndrome.
