Laparoscopy-Assisted Ureter Interposition by Ileum

Abstract

The laparoscopic approach appears to be a safe and effective alternative to open surgery for ileal ureter substitution. Extracorporeal management of the ileal segment would appear advantageous because it reduces operative time and morbidity.
