Prevalence and Correlates of Perineal Dermatitis in Nursing Home Residents

Abstract

Several correlates of perineal dermatitis (mechanical chafing, fecal and double incontinence, and use of restraints) appear modifiable through nursing intervention. Clinical interventions should consider the complex health status of this population.
