Aspirin and reduced risk of esophageal carcinoma

Aspirin use was associated with a 90% decreased risk of developing esophageal carcinoma. Further studies to determine whether aspirin is protective against both squamous cell esophageal carcinoma and adenocarcinoma of the esophagus are indicated.
