Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn: 3.4-MM Brightness Temperatures

The 3.4-mm brightness temperatures of Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn are 1670 ± 200, 140° ± 16°, and 1300 ± 15° K. These values have been compared with the other available millimeter brightness tempera- tures. The uncertainties of the available data are too large to permit any statistically significant state- ments about variations with wavelength of the millimeter brightness temperatures of Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn
