Abstract CCl2FCClF2 was converted to C2H2F2 and CH4 over Pd/TiO2 at 420–820 K in the presence of hydrogen. C2H2F2 and C2H3F3 were mainly formed over Pt/TiO2 at 520–570 K and dechlorination to CF3Cl took place over Ni/TiO2 and Co/TiO2 at 470–620 K. The CeO2/TiO2 catalyst and the catalyst containing La themselves reacted with CFC113 to give CeF3/TiO2 and LaF3/TiO2 after the reaction at 820 K, respectively. MnTiO3 catalyzed the reaction to C2F3Cl at relatively high temperatures of 770–820 K.
