Measurement of the Dynamic Surface Excess of the Nonionic Surfactant C₈E₄OMe by Neutron Reflection and Ellipsometry

Abstract

The measurement of the dynamic surface excess of the nonionic surfactant C₈E₄OMe was performed. The neutron reflection and ellipsometry techniques were used for the purpose. It was found that the coefficient of ellipticity was linearly proportional to the surface excess for nonionic surfactant.
