CONTINENCE AND CLASSIC BLADDER EXSTROPHY TREATED WITH STAGED REPAIR

Abstract

Continence can be achieved in most patients with classic bladder exstrophy. However, augmentation was required in 30 of 43 patients (70%). Bladder neck reconstruction alone resulted in continence in only a third of the cases.
