I syndrome of familial gastrointestinal polyposis associated with pigmentation of the skin and mucous membranes. However, this condition was seldom recognized until Jeghers et al.4 reportcd coniprehensively on 10 cases in 1919. Following this, the condition became known as the Peutz-Jeghers syndrome, and it has been reported with increasing Crequency.
