Abstract

The fundamental theory of t-error correcting and d(d<t)-unidirectional error detecting (t-EC d-UED) codes is given. Many construction methods for t-EC d-UED codes are developed. The encoding/decoding methods for these codes are described. The optimality of these codes is considered.<<ETX>>
