α-Stability of systems governed by a functional differential equation— extension of results concerning linear delay systems

Abstract

ABSTRACT Theorem 1 stated by Mori et al. (1982) and discussed by Hmamed (1985) and Mori (1986) is generalized in this note: this theorem is extended to the case of a system governed by a more general functional differential equation. Theorem 3 claimed by Hmamed (1986) is erroneous; the correct result is established.
