Jet Ventilation for Fiberoptic Bronchoscopy

Abstract

THE use of rapacuronium has been associated with occasional episodes of self-limited increased airway pressure with or without mild oxygen (O 2 ) desaturation and wheezing. To our knowledge, this is the first report of severe bronchospasm associated with a transient inability to ventilate and marked O 2 desaturation after its administration.
