Role of myoepithelial cells in the development of salivary gland tumors

Abstract

It has been shown that myoepithelial cells play an important role in the composition and growth of many salivary gland tumors. Increased knowledge of this fact leads to a better understanding of the confusing complexity in the morphology of salivary gland tumors.
