Serotype and Drug Susceptibility of <i>Bordetella pertussis</i> Isolated in Japan from 1975 to 1984

Abstract

In a previous report (15) we found that most Bordetella pertussis strains isolated from patients with whooping cough were serotype 1.3. Recently, this serotype is the most frequently isolated from children with whooping cough.
