Fast-Tracking After Immersion Lithotripsy: General Anesthesia Versus Monitored Anesthesia Care

Abstract

A desflurane-based general anesthetic technique using the cuffed oropharyngeal airway device was found to be a highly acceptable alternative to propofol-based monitored anesthesia care sedation for outpatient immersion lithotripsy.
