Polyelectrolyte-modified layered double hydroxide nanocontainers as vehicles for combined inhibitors

Abstract

The dual release of Ce³⁺and 2-mercaptobenzothiazole from layered double hydroxides modified by the layer-by-layer leads to an improvement of corrosion protection when compared to unmodified layered double hydroxides.
