Abstract

Irreducible representations and basis functions are given for the double point groups O , O h , T d , D 4 h , C 4 v , D 3 d , C 3 v , and C 2 v . The basis functions tabulated are orthogonal to one another and diagonal with respect to the total angular momentum j = l + s .
