Platelet Count During Normal Pregnancy

Abstract

Summary: Platelet counts were performed on 1,020 normal patients at different stages of pregnancy. Patients with complications of pregnancy known to influence the platelet count were excluded from the study. There was no evidence of any significant change in platelet count during pregnancy.
