Buffeting fins - An assessment of surface pressure loading

Abstract

We provide a summary of existing data on fin buffeting and its approximate scaling based on global length and velocity scales. Only those investigations involving a rigid fin were considered; exceptions involve cases where the surface pressure spectra were sufficiently decoupled from the structural response spectra.
