This study suggests that the two pairs of siblings have an identical familial and probably recessive disorder with neurodegenerative changes that have caused paraplegia and a peculiar maculopathy associated with anomalous retinal vascular complexes, retinochoroidal anastomoses, and subretinal neovascularization.
