ABSTRACT LIMITED and no-tillage management in the South-ern Plains can be beneficially used in irrigated cropping systems. About 75 percent of the irrigation in this region is by the graded-furrow method. Learning how to manage beds and furrows between crops is essential for development of practical management systems. This paper reports the results of 7 years of field research in developing and evaluating limited and no-tillage management systems for irrigated crop production.
