Significance of secondary ultrasonographic endometrial thickening in postmenopausal tamoxifen‐treated women

Abstract

A significant increase (> 50%) in secondary endometrial thickening, measured ultrasonographically, in postmenopausal tamoxifen-treated patients, is associated with a high rate of endometrial pathologies, including endometrial cancer.
