Effect of caspase inhibitors on myocardial infarct size and myocyte DNA fragmentation in the ischemia–reperfused rat heart

Abstract

Myocyte DNA fragmentation and caspase activation was inhibited by caspase inhibitors without reduction of the infarct size in ischemia-reperfused rat hearts.
