A Checklist of Ticks of Thailand (Acari: Metastigmata: Ixodoidea)1

Abstract

The present checklist contains a listing of all of the ticks (Ixodoidea) known to occur in Thailand as of December 1980. Collections were made in 47 of the 72 Thai provinces. Included are 10 genera and 53 species. Under each species are listed previous Thailand records, distribution, repositories, and hosts. A separate host list and other sources of ticks are also given.
