Abstract

Gone are the days when software systems can be built without regard for security. Regardless of whether the system is commercial off the shelf (COTS), developed by a software provider, or custom code for use in an enterprise, it is clear that systems and networks are under attack and that the software being developed today is the primary line of defence.
