Abstract Efficient p-terphenyl-catalyzed photoreduction of CO2 to carbon monoxide can be achieved by combination with Cobalt3+–cyclam (cyclam = 1,4,8,11-tetra-azacyclotetradecane) as an electron mediator in organic solvent.
