Frequency-Domain Clock Phase Detector for Nyquist WDM Systems

Abstract

A novel frequency-domain clock phase detector is proposed for Nyquist WDM signals generated using very small raised-cosine roll-off factor. The jitter is shown to be lower than the time-domain approach and independent of the roll-off factor.
