Magnetic resonance imaging of the common bile duct to exclude choledocholithiasis

Abstract

In patients with strong indications for choledocholithiasis MRCP is able to reliably exclude clinically relevant choledocholithiasis and is therefore recommended as the preoperative diagnostic imaging tool of choice.
