Abstract

We estimate the branching ratio and argue that two-gluino bound states can be detected in $\ensuremath{\Upsilon}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\gamma}+^{1}S_{0}(\stackrel{\ifmmode \tilde{}\else \~{}\fi{}}{g} \stackrel{\ifmmode \tilde{}\else \~{}\fi{}}{g})$ if ${m}_{\stackrel{\ifmmode \tilde{}\else \~{}\fi{}}{g}}<4.5$ GeV. The signal would be comparable to the backgrounds in magnitude. In the case of top-quarkonium decay, the signal could be much enhanced due to the exchange of a possibly light scalar top quark. We also show that two-gluino bound states can exist only in $^{1}S_{0}, ^{3}P_{0,1,2}, ^{1}D_{2}, ^{3}F_{2,3,4},\dots{}$, but not in $^{3}S_{1}, ^{1}P_{1}, ^{3}D_{1,2,3}, ^{1}F_{3},\dots{}$ states. The decay width of the $\stackrel{\ifmmode \tilde{}\else \~{}\fi{}}{g} \stackrel{\ifmmode \tilde{}\else \~{}\fi{}}{g}$ ground state is calculated. Finally, we discuss the $\stackrel{\ifmmode \tilde{}\else \~{}\fi{}}{g} \stackrel{\ifmmode \tilde{}\else \~{}\fi{}}{g}$ potential.
