Dielectric response function of a non-drifted two-component plasma in the absence of a magnetic field is calculated in the framework of the macroscopic diffusion equations, and its properties are investigated. The dynamic form factor S ( k , ω) is then evaluated, which may give a proper description of correlations in large distances and long time separations; the behavior of the poles of S ( k , ω) in the complex ω-plane is studied and the nature of the correlations is clarified. Certain experimental connections are also discussed.
