Abstract Certain C(α)O ‐dilithiooximes, C(α)N ‐dilithiophenylhydrazones, and C(α)N,N ‐trilithiohydrazones were treated with a variety of nitriles. The intermediates were not isolated, but cyclized with acid to give isoxazoles or pyrazoles.
