Abstract

A 31‐year‐old woman presented with a 15‐year history of Darier's disease complicated by fever and multiple pustules of the anogenital area. Ultrastructural studies of cultured pustule fluid showed characteristic pox‐virus particles. The authors hypothesize that the patient may have been contaminated by cow‐pox virus originating from cattle.
