Group Interpersonal Psychotherapy for Depression in Rural Uganda

Abstract

Group interpersonal psychotherapy was highly efficacious in reducing depression and dysfunction. A clinical trial proved feasible in the local setting. Both findings should encourage similar trials in similar settings in Africa and beyond.
