Abstract

Severe WD remains a therapeutic challenge, with early diagnosis and treatment are essential. Specific MRI observations, a 'start low-go slow' regimen for penicillamine, and compliance may have prognostic significance. In absence of clinical predictors, genetic attributes need to be explored.
