Abstract Lymphocytotoxicity studies were carried out in both the autochthonous and allogeneic situations in nine astrocytomas, seven medulloblastomas and two ependy‐momas. Tumour type‐specific lymphocytotoxicity was demonstrated. The degree of lymphocyte‐mediated tumour‐cell killing did not decrease with the duration of apparent clinical cure. Higher degrees of tumour‐cell killing were found in the autochthonous as compared with the allogeneic combinations. Blocking factor was demonstrated in only three patients.
