A red strain of <i>Rhizobium</i> from <i>Lotononis bainesii</i> Baker

Abstract

A strain of Rhizobium that is red in culture was isolated from Lotononis bainesii and appears to be a normal symbiont of this species. Cultural characteristics of the bacterium and the results of cross-inoculation tests are described.
