Phase-shifted moiré grating fibre resonators

Abstract

A novel technique for fabricating fibre grating resonators is reported. Using this technique, a resonant filter response with a bandwidth of 0.04 nm (∼5 GHz) centred at 1535.1 nm and with a finesse of 20 has been obtained.
