Abstract A new eunicellin-type diterpenoid, vigulariol (1), has been isolated from the sea pen Vigularia juncea. Metabolite 1 has been obtained previously as a side product from a chemical reaction; however, it was isolated for the first time from natural resources. Also, this study established the full structure of 1 and afforded the detailed assignments of 1H and 13C NMR spectral data.
