Role of Mycobacterium paratuberculosis in Crohn's disease

Abstract

M. paratuberculosis was only rarely detected in biopsy or surgical specimens from patients with Crohn's disease. These results do not support a common causative role of M. paratuberculosis in Crohn's disease.
