Abstract

A truly distinguished host (57) of the most eminent personalities in the field of vitreous surgery contribute to this extensive work. It comes as an offspring of the Symposium on Recent Advances in Vitreous Surgery held at the University of California Medical Center in March 1974. While falling into the ever-swelling ranks of recent publications on the vitreous, this text holds true to its theme.
