The algal flora in the Thermal Baths of Montegrotto Terme (Padua). Its distribution over one‐year period

Abstract The results of a one year period study on the algal flora in the muds and in the spring water of Montegrotto Terme (Padua) are reported. Temperature and pH do not seem to have any direct influence on phytoplankton population, but their variation must depend from other not yet identified factors.
