Abstract

Endoscopic and/or open urethral manipulation before anastomotic urethroplasty for posttraumatic urethral stricture has a significant impact on the outcome of urethral reconstruction. Cases of posttraumatic urethral stricture should preferably be referred to a center of expertise.
