Suture Reaction in the Rabbit Cornea

Abstract

The role of suture in corneal inflammation was evaluated in four pigmented and six albino rabbits. In both groups of animals, monofilament nylon sutures (Ethilon) demonstrated the least severe reaction of the sutures tested.
