A search for dibaryon resonant states was carried out in $p\ensuremath{-}p$ collisions at 5.0 BeV/c in the 80-in. Brookhaven bubble chamber. A total of \ensuremath{\sim}1400 events was measured and analyzed. We were not able to detect any effect which could be construed as being due to a dibaryon resonance. We observed the $Y_{1}^{}{}_{}{}^{*}$ and the ${N}^{*++}$ resonance. We also observe the effect of the ${1688}^{*++}$ resonance in its ${\ensuremath{\Lambda}}^{0}{K}^{+}$ decay mode. Our data are consistent with the one-pion-exchange model.
