Abstract

The vectoring control of a primary jet with an averaged-zero-mass-flux synthetic jet is simulated using the two-dimensional Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations. The vectoring effects of some parameters of the synthetic jet, such as the location, oscillating frequency, and velocity amplitude, are studied at two angles (0 and 60 deg) of the synthetic jet
