Venous Doppler velocimetry in the surveillance of severely compromised fetuses

Abstract

Diastolic venous velocimetry changes significantly in severely compromised fetuses. These changes might be of great clinical value in deciding on the timing of delivery to minimize damage to the fetus and newborn.
