Trophoblast Apoptosis in Placentas from Pregnancies Complicated by Preeclampsia

Abstract

Our findings might suggest that increased apoptosis and syncytial knot formation combined with reduced FasL expression could be involved in pathophysiological mechanisms of preeclampsia.
